Stucco over linen cartonnage fragment of a kneeling Anubis, jackal headed God who presided over mummification and accompanied the dead to the hereafter, under a scale with a crowned baboon on top. On one sca;e a jar and the other the sun-God Ra holding an Ankh. Traces of green, black, orange and red. Two lines of hieroglyphics to the left. Displayed in a shadow box. New Kingdom, 20th Dynasty.

Black limestone laying Anubis, the jackal-headed God who presided over mummification and accompanied the dead to the hereafter, a cobra under the neck, hieroglyphics on the base. Dirt patina. Ptolemaic.
Prehistoric Fossil
Fossil fish in stone. Fish swam in a fresh water lake. When they died, they sank to the bottom where they were quickly buried. The soft sediments encased the fish and, as the rock hardened, the skeleton was preserved. Eocene Period, Wyoming.
Mesopotamian Fragment
Bronze panther that may have once been used as a handle to a cup, portrayed with its mouth opened, sections of the lower legs broken. Traces of a green patina.
